Things to Check Before Riding Your E-Bike

Be sure to double-check the brakes

Check if the wheels are stable

Before anything else, check to see if the tire pressure falls within the manufacturer’s suggested range. Check it with a gauge. If the tire pressure is sufficient, check that the front wheel is securely fastened. You need to do a one-handed inspection by holding the bar. Now, use your other hand to see if you can tilt the wheel sideways. It’s essential that the wheel does not wobble at all.

Once you’ve done that, you can spin the front wheel by lifting the front of the e-bike. You want it to spin easily, silently, and without resistance. Carry out the same steps with the back tire. If your e-bike’s wheels fail any of these inspections, it’s time to bring it in for service.

Before setting out on a ride, make sure all the lights are on and operating properly by turning them on.
